Issue type schemes and their usage

Power Admin allows you to find any issue type schemes in your configuration and shows all the projects it is assigned to.

Find issue type schemes

To find an issue type scheme:

  1. On Power Admin's Landing page, select Issue Type Scheme from the drop-down, type a name or ID and start your search.

  2. On the Search results page, click on the name of an issue type scheme. You can filter further the issue type schemes by usage in projects.

  3. Then, the issue type scheme’s profile page appears.

Search results

The page with search results shows the following information for each issue type scheme:

  • Name, type, and id of the issue type scheme - you can search for an issue type scheme by its name or ID.

  • Projects - shows a count of the projects where the issue type scheme is configured. When you click on the project count lozenge, you could view a list of all the projects.

Issue type scheme's profile page

Using the profile page, you could view a list of the projects where the issue type scheme is present in the project configuration.

Usage information

The Summary section shows the count of the projects associated with the issue type scheme. You can click on the count to view a list of the projects.

The Details section of the profile page shows details of the projects to which the issue type scheme is assigned. You can then navigate, if you want to, to the profile page of each project.

Actions

The following actions are available for issue type schemes:

  • Rename - You can click on the name of an issue type scheme to rename it. Rename is a safe activity, which means that the name of the issue type scheme will be updated in all dependent configuration elements referring to it by name.

  • Configure - redirects you to the issue type scheme's configuration page in Jira.

  • Copy - redirects you to the issue type scheme's copy page in Jira.

  • Export - exports the issue type scheme's usage information in a CVS file.
