Updates and Resolved Issues
FEATURES Binary Snapshots: The snapshots created with Configuration Manager are now in binary format. Creating and deploying snapshots are now faster operations due to the new format of the snapshots. Handling function parameters in JQL queries: You can now export all system functions in JQL(Jira Core, Jira Software, Service Desk) and the references in parameters will be handled.
You can now recreate a snapshot canceled previously with the same name.
Configuration Manager now detects if a user/group creation has failed during deployment and doesn’t try to remove it on rollback.
We fixed a problem with showing Agile boards, filters and dashboards on the
Preview Snapshot page of the deployment wizard.
Configuration Manager’s snapshot files are now in binary format. This new format allows you to download, upload and deploy snapshots faster. We’re also giving you a tool to convert binary snapshot files to XML and vise versa. You will find the converter in the
Advanced Utilities page. Full documentation
